[Colorado-talk] Proposed RTD Changes for May 2012

    Well, it's already that time again. RTD has posted the proposed changes 
for May, 2012. They can be found at

and I will paste the list here for people's convenience.

Routes proposed for service improvements
20
The westbound trip at 2:21 p.m. to Anschutz Medical Campus would be extended 
to 18th/York and start at 1:50 p.m.

66
The westbound trip at 5:38 a.m. from the Arapahoe at Village Center Station 
would begin at Arapahoe Crossing and start at 5:08 a.m.

BOLT
One trip in each rush-hour period would be extended to Hover/Boston.
J
One trip in each rush-hour period would be extended to Hover/Boston.

L
One trip in each rush-hour period would be extended to Hover/Boston.

Stampede
Summer service would be increased to match the Fall/Winter service. This 
change would be contingent upon funding from the University of Colorado.

Routes proposed for service reductions/improvements
11
Two afternoon eastbound trips would be discontinued. An eastbound trip at 
3:27 p.m. would be added from I-25/Broadway.

116X
The 6:25 a.m. trip would be discontinued from Ken Caryl Park-n-Ride to the 
Civic Center Station. A trip at 6:20 p.m. would be added from the Civic 
Center Station.
153
Service from Smoky Hill to Buckley to Quincy Avenue would be discontinued 
and redirected to Arapahoe Crossing.

Routes proposed for service reductions
54
The 6:35 p.m. trip would be discontinued. Alternate service would be routes 
44 and 153.
AB
Service from Stapleton on the current ABA branch would be discontinued. 
Alternate service would be the Route AS.

Routes proposed for routine schedule adjustments
L
One trip in each rush-hour period would be extended to Hover/Boston. Service 
adjustments would be made after 9:00 p.m. to improve connections at US 36 & 
Broomfield and the 8th/Coffman Park-n-Rides.

AA/AB/AF/AS/AT, 145X and 169L
Due to DIA construction for approximately six months, the loading and 
unloading location at DIA will be moved to the east side, Level 6.
The following routes are proposed for schedule adjustments: 3, 11, 45, 105, 
323, 324, 326, 327, and BOUND

Call-n-Rides
Scheduled time meets at Park-n-Rides and light rail stations would be 
adjusted if needed for Broomfield, Dry Creek, Interlocken/Westmoor, 
Louisville, Lone Tree, Meridian, North Inverness, South Inverness, and 
Orchard Call-n-Rides. Minor boundary adjustments would also be made.

Routes proposed for school service changes
It is proposed to discontinue seasonal school service and deviations from 
these routes: 1W, 6, 9, 11, 16, 24, 30, 30L, 31, 43, 51, 52, 65, 66, 73, 76, 
100, 153, and 206
