Job Fair

MAKING CONNECTIONS THAT WORK FOR YOU
When November 30, 2012
Time: 1:30 to 3:30
Where: Colorado Center  for the Blind
2233 W. Shepherd Ave.
Littleton, CO 80120

This job fair is open to blind jobseekers   ready and looking for
employment.

You will have an opportunity to meet  a variety of employers and talk to
them about their place of employment and their job duties.  They will be
pleased to talk with you and to give you ideas about your future. We have
asked them to be prepared for the following:
The types of positions their company offers
The skills and abilities their require or prefer
About any current openings or when you will have openings
About any internships (paid or unpaid) or volunteer positions
Your advice for answering common interview questions such as:
o   "Tell me about yourself?"
o   "What are your strengths and weaknesses?"
o   "Why are you the best candidate for this position?"

The employers have been advised that there will be jobseekers who are
job-ready and have questions about open positions researched online.

In addition, there will be a social security benefits planner to answer
questions about retruning to work and receiving social security benefits.
There will also be blind employees to discuss their position and how they
accomplish their job duties.
Be prepared by dressing appropriately and have at least ten copies of your
resume
