Here is another excellent way for blind people to become involved in our community, and to work with first responders in training exercises. I encourage everyone interested to participate!!!!! I did not test the below website for accessibility, so do not hesitate to share any inaccessible details with Carolyn!!!!! Thank you.

> Hi Folks,
>
> One of the things the Rocky Mountain Medical Reserve Corps decided to do a few months back was to create a database of individuals interested in participating in exercises as volunteers.
>
> So far we have 98 individuals who have signed up to receive notifications about exercises. These individuals range in age from 16 to 75.
>
> As I have received exercise notices from different agencies across the region I have sent them out through our system and I know that there has been some participation as a result.
>
> CALL TO ACTION
>
> If you ever have an exercise coming up that needs volunteers, feel free to shoot me the information and I will distribute it – within reason, of course.
>
> If you know of folks who might be interested in being a part of this database, please shoot them the attachment or link (www.rockymountainmrc.com/participate). The bigger we can build this database the better it will be for all of us who need volunteers for those exercises.
