Hi Johnnie Jean,
Welcome to the list! I am Arielle Silverman, a blind graduate student
at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am also the secretary of the
Colorado Association of Blind Students (CABS). We have meetings and
conference calls for blind students throughout the state of Colorado.
As a middle school student I think you would enjoy getting involved
with CABS and meeting older students! CABS has a listserv, which you
can sign up for at the same place you signed up for Colorado-Talk,
www.nfbnet.org
We will be having our next conference call on Sunday March 24 at 5:00
p.m. which will be about dating and relationships. We will also be
having a seminar in Denver sometime soon so stay tuned!
