ShineRetrofits.com is a fast growing eCommerce 
small company located in Denver, CO. We are an 
energy efficient lighting products distribution 
company specializing in commercial lighting 
projects nationally and internationally. The 
company focuses on a total win-win by saving 
customers money by reducing energy usage while 
also helping the environment.

This position will involve adding new lighting 
products to our website, researching lighting 
products online, and maintaining existing 
products. The position also allows working from 
home or remotely using your own computer. We 
expect that you will be hard working, able to work 
on your own time, be consistent, work towards 
reaching set goals, and be able to pay attention 
to detail. You will thrive in this position if you 
plan and schedule your tasks efficiently, have a 
jack-of-all-trades mentality, enjoy variety, are 
passionate about energy efficiency, lighting, or 
renewable energy, and embrace the challenge of 
continually learning. This is a part time 1099 
contracted position with a minimum 15 hours per 
week required, with the opportunity to grow with 
the company in the future based on performance.
Task responsibilities will include but are not 
limited to:?
- Entering lighting product information in our 
online shopping cart system?
- Managing and maintaining current product 
offering competitiveness online
- Competitor and pricing research?
- Analyzing top selling products and product 
categories and adjusting online visibility for 
increased sales
- Continual learning of the latest in lighting 
technology and offerings
- Additional tasks as required
Critical Criteria -- all team members must meet 
these requirements:
- Obtain or be working on an undergraduate or 
graduate degree
- Be able to work remotely or from home 
effectively in a distraction-free environment.
- Have the ability and desire to learn technical 
products, such as lighting and related 
technologies
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, 
Adobe Acrobat, and simple graphics programs.
- Have experience with online content management 
systems (CMS) such as Magento, Wordpress, Drupal, 
Joomla, or similar and web based environments with 
basic skills in CSS and HTML.
- Be very tech savvy, comfortable with, and fast 
with computers and web based software and 
websites.
- Staying extremely organized, meticulous, and 
detailed.
- Highly motivated with the ability and discipline 
to work independently once given directive, with 
the ability to self-teach in new systems, 
software, and processes.
- Jack-of-all-trades mentality with a desire to 
continually learn and participate in a variety of 
activities and tasks.
- Desire to work with and maintain flexibility 
with a fast moving and growing small company
- Have a strong work ethic and great attitude with 
a desire to help with whatever is needed.
- Ability to manage a team effectively to help 
with products work.
Preferred Criteria:
- Very beneficial to have experience in the 
industrial and commercial lighting field or 
related electrical or technical industry
- Experience working with products and/or 
manufacturers in a web-based, eCommerce 
environment
- Passion for helping businesses lower energy 
costs and helping the environment through 
cost-effective energy efficiency or renewable 
energy measures
- A fast computer with a secondary monitor
You will report directly to the Products & 
Manufacturer Manager. This position is critical to 
keeping existing products organized on the website 
and helping to create new ones.
