INTRODUCTION TO GOALBALL

Come One, Come All...Kids of All Ages...Learn to Play Goalball!

Sunday, February 22

at the CCB!

Goalball is a team sport developed for blind or visually impaired players, in which a ball containing bells is thrown at a goal at the opposing team's end of the court. Players must use the sound of the bells to judge the position and movement of the ball. Games consist of two 12-minute halves. Sleepshades are worn by partially sighted players so that all players are competing on an equal footing. Teams will be formed based on the age of the players so even the younger ones will have a great time! Those brand new to the game and those who have played before are invited to join the fun at the Colorado Center for the Blind gymnasium on Sunday, February 22 at 2:30 p.m.

Parents will have a social "meet and greet" while the kids are occupied with the games.

See you at the CCB!!
