NFB PLEDGE

I pledge to participate actively in the effort of the
National Federation of the Blind to achieve equality,
opportunity, and security for the blind; to support the
policies and programs of the Federation; and to abide
  by its constitution.

NFB MESSAGE

The National Federation of the Blind knows that
blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or
your future. Every day we raise the expectations of
blind people, because low expectations create
obstacles between blind people and our dreams.
You can live the life you want; blindness is not what
  holds you back.

COLORADO ASSOCIATION OF GUIDE DOG USERS:
Leading, Seeing and Guiding the Pack: Seminar #102
               Carson

Melissa, Green, President
COAGDU
Greeley, Colorado

Are you wanting to be a LEADER? Are you SEEING yourself being able to change the
lives of blind people in Colorado as well as across the United States?
We will be working on GUIDING all of our "pack" members in the areas of "pack
building", showing the "pack members" how to educate the public about COAGDU and
learning about and discussing different issues that we as guide dog handlers are
going through and how to handle them.
We will have our elections, great discussions, and some great smelling oils that
you can use on yourself, and there are even some oils that have been designed
for your dog too.

PLEASE NOTE: If you want to vote in the elections, then you must pay your dues
at registration which will take place from 2:00 p.m. to about 2:30 p.m. We hope
to see all of your "wagging tails" here.

COAGDU will also be selling our dog treats in a jar, a mixture of wheat flour
and chicken bouillon and a number of other ingredients that you can take home
and make some healthy and delicious snacks for your dog. For dogs with an
allergy to wheat, we have the product in oatmeal as well. The small jars are
$7.00 and the larger jars are $9.00. We haven't forgotten about you "pack
members" with two legs as well. COAGDU will be selling both kinds of M&Ms, Rice
Krispy Treats, Snickers and Grandma's Cookies that will surely "tie you down"
until lunch or dinner time.

2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
