Howdy folks,

Hope your week is off to a mighty fine start. The Wild West Metro Chapter
will be having our next meeting this coming Saturday, September 17, 2016
from High Noon until 2PM. Not to confuse our normal meeting time on the
first Saturday of the month, we decided not to have our September meeting
over Labor Day weekend. Also, Due to the mid month meeting occurring this
month, we will not have an October meeting and will resume having our first
Saturday of each month meeting on Saturday, November 5, 2016.
We have an exiting meeting planned for this Saturday, September 17, 2016.
Natalie Menten who sits on the Regional Transportation District (RTD) board
of directors will be speaking about and listening to concerns from us about
RTD service. She will be putting an emphasis on services such as the west
line and other services in the Lakewood area, but she has expressed
interest in hearing about all RTD related issues.
We will be discussing NFBCO state convention and as always we will lasso
some other topics throughout our showdown at the Carmody Recreation Center
located at; 2200 S Kipling Street Lakewood, CO 80227
I am attaching a copy of our meeting flyer for everyone to circulate to
your networks and I have also pasted the flyer content below.
SEE Y'ALL SATURDAY!!!! YEEE HAW COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Melissa Fishburn

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
