*DISABILITY RIGHTS:*

ê *Tell Your Medicaid Story! *How has Medicaid impacted your life or that
of someone you love? Have you or your family benefited from Medicaid,
either for your health care or through a waiver program? How would things
change for you or your family if you lost this support or if it were
severely cut? Proposed changes to our health care system, due to be
introduced this week, threaten just that. Plans include changing federal
support to a block grant for states or using per capita payments to limit
or reduce federal support. This would mean that states would have to take
on the additional funding burden. Proposed changes pose an existential
threat to the system we depend on. Let’s get the message out to inform the
media, elected officials, and our fellow Coloradans about the difference
Medicaid makes in our lives. The Colorado Cross Disability Coalition (CCDC)
and the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative (CCHI) have joined forces to
get the word out. Please complete the survey (link below) to add your voice
as the health care system is re-shaped. For questions about this survey,
please contact Charlene Willey atpc.willey at gmail.com Thank you!
