State convention is down the street, and around the corner! Bustang is a fantastic option from Denver to Fort Collins on Thursday afternoon. A one-way ticket is available for ten dollars. You may purchase fair on the Bustang; you must have exact change. Fair may also be purchased online at https://www.ridebustang.com or through the Bustang app. You may print the fair purchased online. The app is available in the iOS and Google platforms. Discounted fairs for seniors and people with disabilities are available.

You will enjoy using Denver Union Station (DUS). All Bustangs use gate B3 at DUS. B3 is close to the Union Station entrance. Several RTD routes use DUS, such as the 0, 15 and those buses coming from Boulder. You may also take the A, B, C and W Lines to DUS. The Braille labels for the gates are near the door. Gate B3 is on the left side of DUS if you are descending from The Union Station Side or commuter rail platforms (east); in fact, B3 is next to the stairs and elevators to the commuter rail platforms. B3 is on the right if you descend from Chestnut (LightRail) and Wewatta Streets (west). The restroom are past the Chestnut Street entrance on the far west side of DUS. See http://www.rtd-denver.com/UnionStation.shtml for more information on the routes using DUS along with a map.

I recommend taking the 1 p.m. Bustang to Fort Collins. There is a small wait for the bus coming from Colorado Springs (arriving at 12:05 p.m.). You will experience a longer wait for the buses arriving from the mountains (9:40 a.m. and 11:25 a.m.). Keep in mind that DUS has no provision for luggage; this includes no lockers. The 1 p.m. Bustang will arrive at the Downtown Fort Collins Transit Center at 2:25 p.m. Transfer to the southbound Max Bus is easy at the Transit Center. The Max runs every ten minutes, so if you miss one, another will soon be there. The fair for Max is $1.25. Transfort also has discounted fairs for seniors and PWD. Begin at http://www.ridetransfort.com/fares-passes/fares-passes for more information on Transfort.

How great it shall be to see everyone at State Convention. Come by the Mile High booth for musical chairs!! Sports and Rec will also have some wonderful essential oils for sale such as orange, lavender and two other essential oils which escape me at this time of the morning.
