Subject: [Colorado-Talk] Disabling Excessive Screen Reader Alerts in Zoom for Windows

Greetings to everyone:

In the latest version of Zoom, if you go to Settings and then Accessibility, you will find a variety of settings now available to govern what gets spoken by your screen reader (e.g., JAWS or NVDA) in the Zoom program. You can check the alerts you want to hear and uncheck the ones you don't.

This procedure is much easier and is screen reader agnostic.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong
