This is a message from President Frank Coppel.

 

The National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina has been given an
awesome opportunity during Midlands Gives. An anonymous donor will match
dollar for dollar of our giving up to $3,000. If NFB of SC raises $3,000,
the anonymous donor will also donate $3,000, giving NFB of SC $6,000.
Additionally, if NFB of SC has the most unique donations during the power
hour on Tuesday from 12:00 until 1:00, we will receive an additional $2,000
giving NFB of SC a minimum total of $8,000 for Midlands Gives. NFB of SC
will then make a donation to Rocky Bottom. We are switching gears and
putting all of our efforts into NFB of SC on Tuesday, May 5 since we have an
anonymous donor willing to match our funds up to $3,000.

 

You may call the Center at 803-254-3777 before Midlands Gives and provide
your credit card information so that we can process donations during the
Power Hour on Tuesday.

 

Please gather your chapters, divisions, friends, family, neighbors,
co-workers to give on Tuesday, May 5 so that NFB of SC can make a huge
impact! All of us working together can make Midlands Gives on Tuesday, May 5
a success for NFB of SC!
