Good morning -

At 8 a.m. tomorrow, HB21-1110- Colorado Laws for Persons with
Disabilities will be heard before the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Last week it was passed unanimously out of the Senate Judiciary
Committee. In addition to allowing State court enforcement of the ADA;
HB21-1110 will ensure that all Colorado State websites are in full
compliance with current ADA accessibility standards. Senate
Appropriations reviews the budgetary part of the bill which, as you
might remember, is something over $600,000 for compliance by public
entities (state and local governments). Much of those funds will go to
training state web staff on accessibility and for purchasing tools
that can review web sites for compliance.

Once this passes the Appropriations Committee, it goes to the floor of
the Senate, and if passed there to the Govbernor for his signature.
We're really close on this!

If you can, please email the committee members below and ask them to
vote in favor of HB21-1110.

Thanks all!
Dan
