[Colorado-Talk] Why Australia’s Crosswalk Buttons are the Best (ft. Billie Eilish)

Hi All
I was in Australia with Travel Eyes just before the pandemic in 2020. Literally, we returned home on February 21, three weeks before the shut down.

Not only are Australia's audible signals pretty incredible, they have Braille and large print labels of street names on every light pole. The Braille runs vertical for easy reading.

I would like to see the NFB slowly implement these changes for equality and inclusion.

And, if I'm going to change the world, how about placing vertical Braille labels on the elevator buttons! Have you ever squatted on the floor trying not to break your wrist while reading the Braille numbers. Just saying! Smile
