Subject: T-Mobile Protactile Hotspot event

Hi all!

Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a great week.

I had the opportunity to chat with Sarah Morrison and her colleague, Keith Clark and they are with the T-Mobile Accessibility team with the focus being on the DeafBlind Outreach Program. They are hosting a “T-Mobile Protactile (PT) Hotspot” event in Littleton on Tuesday, September 21st from 2:30p-6:30p and they would like to extend the invitation to our organization.

Sarah and Keith are also coming down to Colorado Springs and meet with us on Friday, September 24th at 11am and to show some of their products and devices specifically IP Relay which is designed to provide access for DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, Deaf, and/or those with speech disabilities. We will be using one of our conference rooms here. Sarah mentioned that it will be 6 of them and I would like to know how many of us would like to attend so I can reserve a room and request an interpreter.

Lastly, just a FYI- this is still tentative, but Sarah and Keith are also hoping to host a social Protactile Hotspot event for those local to Colorado Springs to come together and as well as learn more of what resources are available for them and other accessibility services and programs T-Mobile has to offer. Anyone is welcome to attend. As soon as I receive more information, I will let you know.

Please feel free to forward this information to others who may be interested, thank you!
