SUPPORT OUR WINNING TEAM ON COLORADO GIVES DAY, DEC. 6!

Colorado Gives Day is this Tuesday, and we've got on our game faces! We
know that our game plan puts us in the "Win" column with students of all
ages whom we serve.

Here's our winning formula -

 	* Belief that blind people can do anything
 	* A community of support and encouragement
 	* Excellent instructors teaching proven blindness skills

Our Senior team of Duncan, Chris, Dishon, Stephanie, and Robert meet with
more than 150 older blind individuals every month, They meet in their homes
or at the center, in groups or individually, in-person, online, or on the
phone. And what they always share are positive attitudes about blindness
and real skills that mean independence.

found her level using a white cane in one hand and support cane in the
other. And she and her instructor Stephanie B took full advantage of the
fall afternoon out front at the center.
And for our older individuals who are blind, most of whom have become blind
as they near retirement or some time afterwards, what they want is to
remain independent despite blindness. Independence after their years of
careers and families is what they've earned, and we know it's still
possible for them!

Independence - that's the goal line!
