Jessica I am with you 100 per cent. Perhaps a monetary gift is best and if so we need to know where to send. I don’t know of any Blind people there. I know we have had students there in the past. If anyone knows of a Blind person there we could of course ask them.
Thank You for thinking of this.
In Love,
Sharon Buchan

Subject: [Colorado-Talk] Marshall Fires
Hello Everyone
On behalf of the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado, I want to extend deepest sympathy to those impacted by the Marshall Fires. The number of people who have lost their loved ones, homes, and businesses is devastating.
If you know of blind people who have been impacted by the fires, please have them reach out to us at assistance at nfbco.org <mailto:assistance at nfbco.org> or 303-778-1130 x 219 and let us know how we might be able to assist. We are happy to say that everyone in the Boulder Valley Chapter is safe but we want to make sure that we check in with other blind brothers and sisters who may have been impacted.
Also, I wanted to gage interest in our affiliate participating in some kind of service project in the area to assist. If folks are interested we can explore what such a project would look like.
Best Wishes
Jess
