Following is an announcement from Judy Sanders (formerly, Judy Miller from Colorado) about a celebration of life event that will be held via zoom on behalf of her sister, Susan Leiker.

 

Judy Miller served as president of the Colorado affiliate many years ago and is well known as the person who, with the help of the National Federation of the Blind, took on the Denver Public Schools and won the right to teach in that district.

This service will be led by Rabbi Jules King with Desert Outreach Synagogue in Palm Desert, California. Susan’s sister, Linda, and her husband have been members of this congregation for may years and consider the rabbi a close friend.
