Hi, I’m 55, was diagnosed with X linked RP over 40 years ago.
I was blessed to find a local peer support group at that time.
Unfortunately, I’ve talked to lots of folks, that have gotten a diagnosis of an inherited retinal disease, and they’ve never met   a blind person in their life.

Some people have never even seen a blind person in their community.

 After talking to so many people on Facebook who are looking to meet other people with similar challenges, I recognize that there is a need for support that goes beyond just text interactions on Facebook, and beyond the limited scope of just my local community. So, I am inviting you to a virtual Living with Low Vision Open House. It will be this Thursday January 5, 2023 on Zoom. This is a gathering for anyone losing their vision and the friends and family who love them.
 The timing is more like a party. You come when you can, and you leave when you want. Please join us on Zoom anytime Thursday night between: 
7-12 pm Eastern Time

6-11 pm Central Time
5-10 pm Mountain Time

4-9 pm Pacific Time

 I am not affiliated with any parent organization, charity or business. We are a group of individuals with a vested interest in creating community for people affected by inherited retinal diseases.
