Between May Day, Cinco de Mayo, and Derby Day, there's a lot to celebrate
this Saturday!

So, let's ring in May Wild West style.

 

When: Saturday, May 6, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

 

Where: Lakewood Grill, 8100 w Colfax Ave.

 

Lakewood Grill is located on the Southwest corner of West Colfax and Ammons
street. It is about a block West of the Colfax and Allison bus stop.
Entrences are on the East side and Southeast corner of the building.

When I originally put together this invitation, I forgot all about the
Derby! How remiss of me. The Kentucky Derby, that is.

The main event is a short race, and post time is 4:57. We'll make sure the
sound is on, and we'll see what kind of fun we can whip up in honor of the
occasion.

 

Lakewood Grill has a nice back room we can commandeer, not to mention a
large patio, and with a current forecast of sunny and 73, it looks like
Mother Nature is smiling on us!

 

I can personally attest to the quality of food and drink at this West Colfax
institution, and with NFB of Colorado members, family and friends from all
over coming together in one spot, this is gonna be a celebration to
remember!

 

As Darth Vader said so long ago and far away, we would be honored if you
