Greetings colleagues and friends,

The RSVPs are coming in.

>From Pueblo to Monument. From Woodland Park to Payton. Blind, low-vision people of all ages and families are warmly invited to join the Olympic City and your new Downtown Chapter at Thorndale Park 2310 W Uintah St Saturday, August beginning at 11. It's a great time to connect over Rudy's BBQ, desserts, and side dishes brought by members and fun and games. Huge thanks to Jeanette, Joann, Brian, Steven, and Emily for working on this fun day. There will be water, iced tea, and lemonade. But feel free to bring your own drinks and a side dish or dessert.

This really is one of the high points of the year. It's not only just a great day of fun and connection and fun and games but it's an opportunity for the federation to make an extra effort, reaching out to blind folks and their families from throughout our community. Those who don't know about us can surely benefit from the work we do and the community we share. And we can benefit from those new members. So, bring a blind guest. We will see you from 11 until 3 at the park on Saturday.
