Subject: [Colorado-Talk] Day at the Capitol Memorandum

Good morning all -

As you know, our Day at the Capitol is this Monday, Feb. 12. We'll be
gathering beginning at 1:00 p.m. Groups are being organized in advance
and meet-up locations will be different for each group, depending on
their area of the Capitol to cover. That info will come later today,
but if you haven't let me know that you plan to be there, you won't be
accounted for. Send me an email as i will finalize groups and their
assignments today.

Attached is our legislative memorandum. This will be in each folder we
hand out to all 100 members of the Colorado General assembly. We will
also email this to them all. But you get to read it first!

Note that we have two bills already introduced. HB24-1115 is the
accessible prescription labeling bill, and that has its first hearing
on Tuesday morning, as Curtis has indicated in his email. This bill is
sponsored by Reps. Young and Joseph.

The second bill is SB24-153 that would expand Newsline, including an
additional $130,000. That bill was introduced on Wednesday and is
sponsored by Sen. Jessie Danielson.

Read and enjoy! We have some work ahead of us in this 2024 session.
