Additional Information of Note:
*Miners Alley Playhouse in Golden moved to a new building in 2024 and it has a wonderful, accessible layout! There is one audio described matinee performance for each show. A section of front row seats is reserved for blind patrons on AD days, so let them know you want AD seating when purchasing tickets.

*For those who have not yet experienced AD with the Colorado Ballet, it is tremendous! The orchestra is outstanding, and AD is given in layman’s terms along with some ballet terms as the story moves along. They offer tactile tours if you sign up at least 24 hours in advance. Tickets start at $34 with code AUDIO.

 *Performance Now Theatre Company offers a 10% Audio Description discount to their AD shows at the Lakewood Community Center (the discount codes change with each show & are listed online). The staff goes above and beyond to make their AD shows accessible & there is often a tactile tour offered.

*Phamaly Theatre Company (PTC) performances exclusively feature actors with disabilities. PTC gives actors a supportive space to explore and develop their craft, empowers artists within their disability identity, educates the community about access and inclusion, and entertains audiences with high-quality, award winning theatre. Additionally, Phamaly performs at various venues around the Denver area, including some shows at DCPA.
