Greetings friends and colleagues,
You are warmly invited and cordially encouraged to join us in Downtown Colorado Springs for our first NFBCO Roadshow. Resources. Information you can use. Meet fellow blind low low-vision peers of all ages. Where? Avenue 19, 19 N Tejon St. When? Tuesday, June 18th. Beginning at 3 pm.
We will be demonstrating accessible prescription technology, NFB NEWSLINE, technologies for blind a low-vision people of all ages. We invite you to share your experiences. We know you will enjoy meeting successful blind role models. The seminar will be led by blind entrepreneur and civic activist Nate Hecker. There will be light refreshments. We will spend about 3 hours together, upstairs at Avenue 19. There is an elevator. Don't be nervous. Don't be shy. We really want to meet you! At 6 pm we will hold our monthly chapter meeting of the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado Downtown COS Chapter. Of course, the Avenue 19 food stands from pizza to Greek, to vegan, mac and cheese, and wings will be open so come early or stay after the meeting for dinner.

We'd love to meet blind students, blink folks looking for employment, blind senior citizens, parents, and family members of blind children, and blind and low vision individuals who are working.
We also welcome professionals who work in the fields of blind tech, blind rehab, and education.
This will be a lively interactive seminar. We know that blindness is not the only characteristic that defines you or your future. Do not let blindness hold you back. Live the life you want and join us on Tuesday, June 18 at 3. With love hope and determination we transform dreams into reality.
