Hello Colorado The Denver chapter will be holding our quarterly community service project in July at the summer gathering in order to collect school supplies to ensure that all classrooms have the necessary materials! Each year, students are required to bring supplies from a list provided by their school, and teachers supplement from their own paychecks in order to ensure that all students have the ability and tools with which to complete their work. With the summer gathering being held in partnership with the mile high chapter, we hope to gather a lot of supplies to help the Denver Public schools foundation. Remember, for every three items that you bring in, you earn one entry into a drawing for $50! You can be entered multiple times, so the more you give the more chances you have to win!
Below is a list of items that the Denver Public schools foundation has listed in order of need. Any donations are welcome and appreciated, so do not feel as if you have to only donate from the list of highly needed items!
We can’t wait to see you all on July 27, and hope that we support as many students as possible while also chowing down on some delicious food!
Just a note on the highly needed list below: laptops and chromebook chargers are also in high demand, but please email the Denver Public schools foundation directly in order to get additional information if you are able to or want to donate these essential items.
