Hello NFB Colorado!

This might sound like a small announcement from the Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology but let me  inform you all, this feature enhancement has taken over 6 years and we are so excited!  For the first few years we had Google meetings explaining why Google could not fulfill this request.

Now first letter navigation in Drive is available to all starting today!

 

Any of you using Google Work Space know how difficult it was to find documents and folders.

I would like to personally thank all the Accessibility Advisory Board members that are also members of the NFB or on this Discussion list. These people kept the pressure on and were relentless pushing this forward!!  Thank you for your volunteer service, it makes a difference as you can tell!  We at the Governor’s Office thank you for your time and energy making this  feature happen!

This is one of those code changes and features  that help  everyone sighted and blind alike. 😊
