Dear friends and colleagues,

It's time for the 2nd meeting of our new downtown COS chapter. We will be at Avenue 19 on Tuesday, May 21st. It is in the same location as our first informative gathering. Many of us plan to gather at 5 and break bread together. We can grab food at one of the food locations. The Joint is vegan, and their vegan tacos are amazing. There is a great new burger joint. Upstate pizza is the best. There is a gyro place, a chicken wing place, a mac and cheese, and more. Those who do not wish to come at 5 should plan to join all of us at 6 upstairs in the conference room. We will have greeters to show you the way. This month we will talk about our success in the general assembly. We will need to discuss and do a first reading of our new constitution. I will bring braille and print drafts for our review. I would like us to have enough people to elect a governing board to steer our Downtown COS chapter development.  We will also talk a little about the 6 Dot Dash, national and state conventions. We will also have an informative report about some of the NFB internal communications which you will want to know. This and more crammed into about an hour. If I were scheduling transportation I would call for 7:15. I will hang out at the bar until about 8. If you have questions, please get in touch with me and please please invite folks to join us.
