[Colorado-Talk] 2nd monthly Downtown COS Chapter gathering

Greetings friends and colleagues,

Colorado Springs is on the move! In addition to the Olympic City Chapter. We are in the midst of organizing the Downton COS Chapter. The meeting will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 at 6 pm. We will meet at Avenue 19, 19 North Tejon Street. Many of us will gather between 5 and 6 for a little dinner. Avenue 19 features a number of food stands. The Joint is vegan. Upstate Pizza is considered one of the best pizzerias in town. Then there is a chicken sandwich and wing stand. Mac and cheese. And a really good burger joint.

At about 6 pm we go upstairs. Tomorrow we will talk a little about the transportation issues we face. We will review a chapter constitution. We will develop some basic early priorities for the chapter work. We are hopeful that we can elect a board of directors to begin directing and doing the work. We should adjourn at 7. But I would plan transportation pick up no earlier than 7:15. Some of us will stay after till about 8 for a little social time and enjoy a Coke a cola, or something. 😊 If you have buddies or family members who are blind, please bring them with you. We are seeking parents and teachers of blind children, blind students, blind and low-vision people looking for jobs or already retired. If you are employed? Come share your success.
