Hello,

Do you know of policies you believe the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado should pass? As you may know. We establish policies to inform and activate our work on behalf of blind and low-vision people through resolutions. Resolutions are considered at the convention on Friday morning. If resolutions are passed at the committee meeting. They are then presented to the entire convention for consideration. Resolutions passed at our convention then became the policies of the organization. These policies direct our work. So, if you know of something important on which the affiliate should spend our time and treasure? Please submit to Dan Burke, Curtis Chong, or myself. If you need assistance drafting a resolution? I am happy to help. But I would need your idea or draft by mid-day tomorrow. Here is a link to the resolutions we passed at the 2023 convention. You will note that we made significant progress on all of the resolutions we passed last year. If you would like to discuss? Feel free to give me a call 303-929-2369. Hope to see each and every one of you at the convention over this coming weekend.

Now I have to go figure out where I want to eat Thursday evening with our buddies.

The National Federation of the Blind is a community of members and friends who believe in the hopes and dreams of the nation's blind. Every day we work together to help blind people live the lives they want.
Colorado Center for the Blind believes when you believe in yourself and experience a thriving community of positive blind people, nothing can hold you back from pursuing your dreams.
