Hello NFB Denver chapter!!

Reminder we will have our meeting on the second Saturday this month due to the western welcome week parade. We will meet on August 9 10 AM till 12 PM at
The Colorado Center for the Blind
2233 W. Shepherd Avenue
Littleton, CO 80120

We will be talking about the accessible prescription Bill that went into law on July 1,  discussing how to advocate at your local pharmacy to ensure that you are able to receive accessible prescriptions. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. for a five dollar purchase. This is a great way to support the students of the Colorado Center for the Blind. Stay after from 12 PM until 1 PM and enjoy complementary snow cones and popcorn and a chance to just hang out. Also, Dan Burke and some others are gathering for an informal music session at around 12:30 after the meeting. Bring your voice, an instrument, or whatever you have to join in on the fun. We have so many musically inclined and talented people that I’m sure no one will want to miss hearing what this group comes up with!!! So bring whatever you have, and gather around our metaphorical campfire after the meeting with your snow cone and popcorn!

Also we will be collecting school supplies for a local Littleton elementary school. For every three items you donate, will receive a raffle entry and a chance to win $50!!
