Hi all -

I'm forwarding Curtis's email with links to sign up for the listening
sessions with DVR. The first is tomorrow, and there's another next week,
August 19.

DVR says it will have to declare a wait list, known as an "Order of
Selection." Basically, this means they don't think they will have enough
money to serve all those that apply for DVR services. Therefore, they'll
prioritize some Coloradans with disabilities over others . Some new
applicants with continue to be accepted and receive services, while others
will be placed on the wait list.

The question is who will be in each group. That's why it's important that
we all show up. We need to hear what they are proposing and they need to
hear what we think about that.

By the way, many of us will remember the wait list in 2013. In that case,
no new applicants got services for nearly two years.

Background

The Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) currently operates
under an Order of Selection system

as designated by the Rehabilitation Services Administration. This system is
necessary when there aren鈥檛 enough financial or staff resources to provide
services to everyone who needs them. When DVR determines it has limited
