Hi all,
I thought I'd share a trick I'm using to address sluggishness when using the
Meta Glasses with VoiceOver on the iPhone.
To change where VoiceOver is coming from when using the Meta Glasses:
1. Open your iPhone Settings
2. Open Bluetooth
3. Locate your glasses, and swipe up or down with one finger to more
info, activate this
4. Swipe right until you reach device type, and activate this
5. Select speaker.
Next time you connect your glasses, VO will remain on the phone, and this
will eliminate any sluggishness you would experience.
If you decide to switch back, follow these steps and instead of selecting
speaker you can select headset, and VO will go back to the glasses.
Note this will allow you to use the AI on the glasses, use the glasses for
media including calls, and allows me to keep these on for longer periods.
Sometimes I'm in a hurry to get something done, and do not want to deal with
a sluggish screen reader.
I hope this helps!
