Hi all -

Just got this, and some of you may have also received it from Colorado DVR.
Looks like we're headed again for a wait list. Two listening sessions are
listed in the forwarded email below, and we need to be present to as the
NFB affiliate to ensure we have a trong voice in whatever the. Read on, I'm
sure we'll have more discussion about this.

Background

The Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) currently operates
under an Order of Selection system

as designated by the Rehabilitation Services Administration. This system is
necessary when there aren’t enough financial or staff resources to provide
services to everyone who needs them. When DVR determines it has limited
resources, it will create waitlists based on priority categories.  Learn

What's Happening?

DVR has recently identified the need to implement a wait list, because of
insufficient federal and state resources.
How Can I Be Involved?

We want to involve our community members as early as possible.  We would
love your feedback as we look towards implementing the Order of Selection.

learn more about Order of Selection.
