[Colorado-Talk] June Wild West Meeting

Good evening Colorado Talk Crew,

 

This is a reminder of our chapter meeting coming up on Saturday, June 7th at high noon!🤠 

 

This month, the Wild West chapter will feature a special presentation by our chapter president, Paul Sandoval. He will bring his Monarch, a multiline braille and tactile graphics device, to the meeting to provide a demonstration, share his expertise, and offer his insights.

If you're interested in experiencing the Monarch firsthand and exploring its capabilities, you might want to consider attending this month's meeting in person!

 

We will also have Paul Martz in the meeting this month via Zoom. Paul Martz recently released a new book titled, Solve It! The Only Speedsolving Guide for Blind Cubers.  

It’s the first and only guide that takes blind solvers from their very first tactile cube to their first competition. Solve It! Contains everything Paul has learned: where to get a tactile cube, a beginner’s method, an overview of the advanced CFOP method, some just-for-fun cube tricks, and a guide for disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling your cube. And it’s 100% plain text, designed for screen readers and braille displays.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I will definitely be bringing my Rubik’s Cube with me to this month's meeting!

 

Dues. 

Even though our elections are done for this year, please keep in mind that you must be a paid member in order to vote regarding chapter business, events, etc. If you have paid your dues since the October meeting you are already paid for 2025. Yearly dues are $5 as we are meeting at a new location, and this meeting space is free. 

We plan to continue providing a hybrid option for those that are not able to make it to our meeting in person, but we are looking to plan more in person activities throughout the year.

 

The June Wild West chapter meeting will take place on the first Saturday, June 7th, at approximately 12:00 p.m.
