Dear friends and colleagues,

As many of you know, your National Federation of the Blind of Colorado has been cruising across the state, stopping in communities of all sizes over this past year to spread the word about support, opportunities, technologies, and resources for the blind and low vision of all ages. Along with professionals and families. And now it's time for Colorado Springs! Some of you have likely already seen this Roadshow/Resource Fair announcement. From Woodland Park to Paton. From Castle Rock to Pueblo. And all around Colorado Springs. People will be coming to enjoy hospitality, networking, technology demonstrations, door prizes, puppies and puppy raisers, the empowering philosophy of the National Federation of the Blind, and more!! If you have a program or product the blind and low vision of Southern Colorado should know about? Please be in touch immediately. Exhibit spaces are filling up. If we can help with transportation? Please let us know. If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor the cost of light breakfast and light lunch? Please let us know. If you have media contacts that can help us promote this great event? Please let us know. There is no cost to anyone to participate. We will gather around 9:30 or whenever people want to join us throughout the day. We will wrap up by 2. There will be a short program at about 10:15 to highlight the stories, challenges, and opportunities encountered. Below and attached you will find a flyer promoting the event. There are many surprises still to come, not yet announced. Do you know of blind kiddos who would like to check out the Meta glasses or learn about getting a guide dog? Do you know of parents who might be interested in learning more about our Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind? Are you aware of teachers of blind students who may wish to come and share some of their wisdom and learn from active and successful blind role models? Can you reach out to blind seniors and encourage them to come and learn about magnification devices and other alternative techniques that can improve lives. We've got it all!! Thank you for your attention, and I hope to see many of you at the big event on Saturday, May 17. Below find the straight scoop.
