The following is a message from ADAPT regarding Access On Demand. It includes links to re-enroll in AOD, to apply to the RTD LiVE program, and to take a short survey regarding how the new policies, fare and subsidy will impact you or an AOD user you represent.

ADAPT is very concerned about the harmful changes to Access on Demand (AOD) that RTD plans to put in place Jan 1st. But we want you to know that we are not backing down. We are using every strategy we can to make sure our community’s voice is strong, heard, and acted upon. 

If you are an AOD rider or represent one, there are 3 things for you to do right now: 1) complete the survey below, 2) re-enroll in AOD, and 3) apply for the LiVE discount.

1. Complete this survey: 

If you are an AOD rider or represent one, we'd like you to complete this short 6-question AOD Rider Impact Survey <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeCf7J8ELWokeqI8NndyoiLGJ_KAQENuw1Sew2msYm0V8PvTw/viewform?usp=header>  by Wednesday, 11/26. If you have any trouble filling out this form, please let us know and we will make other arrangements.

2. Re-enroll in AOD:

RTD is requiring all AOD riders to complete this re-enrollment form by Jan 1, 2026 or risk having your access to the program "delayed".

*  Enter the person’s First/Last name, Access-a-Ride ID number, and Birthdate.

*  Approve the submission and send the confirmation to their email.

3. Apply for the LiVE program:

The LiVE program provides a 50% fare discount.

The LiVE application is available on the Colorado State benefits site, PEAK, or you can apply by phone.

Key updates for AOD Beginning 01/01/2026:

*  Fare per trip: Fare increased from $0 to $4.50 per trip.

*  Subsidy amount: Reduced from $25 to $20.

*  Service hours: There will be no service between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

*  Stops allowed: You may take up to 2 stops on providers that support this feature (previously only single-stop trips)

What Stays the Same:

*  60 trips per month

*  Trips must begin and end within the RTD service boundary
