Dear friends,
Each of us can help make this coming state convention entertaining and special. Each year we try to up our game. Each year, we like to have fun and raise money through our awesome auction. We are currently running short on super items. If you have a donation for the auction? Please let me know about it as soon as possible. People enjoy getting a list of items a few days prior to the convention itself. This is so they can look over the items and decide what they would like to bid on. However, right now we only have a few items. We do have a wonderful, autographed piece from the Nuggets. We have baskets from Colorado Springs, Colorado Center, and the Denver chapter. I'm told we will have the Colorado Springs weekend package. I'm confident we will have good prizes from Boulder Valley, Wild West, and Mile High. We always do. I know that we will have a few of the more inexpensive prizes to encourage everyone to support the event. But we really need some of those high-value auction items. Some of those nice $100, $200, $500, $1,000 items. We really need to raise some money. This is such a great way for all of our members to be involved. Consider putting together a gift basket. Consider asking for donations from a bakery, jewelry store, hotel stays, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. Let your imagination and love for this organization be your guide. We would like to have all auction items emailed to me by Wednesday, October 22nd. Remember that you can combine items to make interesting packages. For example, how about a night on the town with dinner and theatre tickets? We have had fabulous donations over the years, so let's make this one bigger, better, and even more awesome. Please send details of your auction item packages to me by the 22nd. If you have questions, please email or call me. This is my humble ask. You will bring your items to the convention. You will give them to one of our Downtown COS chapter auction team members.
Thank you.
At your service,
Kevan Worley
