Dear Colfax Neighbor,

We’re reaching out to inform you of night work taking place at Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue as part of the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. Utility work is scheduled for Monday, September 15, 2025, and will take place overnight to ensure public safety and minimize impacts on daytime traffic and business activity. Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue will remain open in both directions, although intermittent lane closures are expected as work progresses across Colorado Boulevard throughout the night.

What work will happen at night?

  *   On Monday, September 15, 2025, utility work will occur overnight between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. at Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue

Important things to know:

  *   Noise Monitoring: Noise levels will be monitored during night work to ensure compliance with permitted limits.
  *   RTD Services: RTD will maintain 15/15L service with temporary stops as needed. RTD customers are encouraged to sign up for Service Alerts  for information on detours, delays, stop closures and other issues that may affect their route or station. You may visit https://app.rtd-denver.com/alerts for more information.
  *   Business access will remain open throughout construction. Please obey all signage and flaggers.
