I absolutely love my job! In just the past two weeks, I’ve had the privilege of celebrating so many milestones with my clients who are blind or low vision:

- One typed their very first text message—without Siri.
- Another mastered touch-typing in a month.
- A client created their first charts in Excel.
- Someone connected their Braille display to their iPhone.
- Another scheduled appointments in Outlook and customized their screen reader settings.
- One navigated QuickBooks using place markers like a pro.
- A client learned to collaborate in Google Docs and mastered the virtual PC cursor.
- Another organized their Outlook inbox and searched emails with ease.
- A client scheduled and invited me to Zoom meetings using Google Calendar.
- Someone started using Voice Access to manage email to assist with overcoming their severe neuropathy.
- A client boosted their social media presence by updating and navigating their Facebook page.
- Another recorded their very first track using a DAW with JAWS.

All of this happened in just two weeks! 🎉

Every day, I get to walk alongside my clients as they gain confidence, independence, and the technology skills to thrive at work or prepare for employment.

If you or someone you know wants to master assistive technology, send them to iSightRehab. We’d love to help!
I am an assistive technology instructor who leads with compassion, builds up structure so you can feel safe to thrive while discovering with your assistive technology and am working on getting my CATIS in order to serve all individuals who are living in the blindness spectrum.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to celebrating your tech wins alongside you!
