[Colorado-Talk] 2026 National Goalball Championships in Colorado Springs - volunteers needed! And Mark your Calendar for October's Breakfast with Champions!

Good morning, Colorado! Please see a message from USABA below about the upcoming National Goalball Championships that will be held in Colorado Springs in a few weeks! This is a fantastic event for Goalball fans, and it can't run without volunteers! I also wanted to highlight another exciting USABA event happening later this year - the Breakfast with Champions on Friday, October 2 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. This year marks USABA's 50th anniversary, and the celebration will continue throughout the weekend with a pitch dedication at CSDB and an international blind soccer friendly featuring Team USA and France. More details will be shared soon, but make sure to save the date and we will share more info as we get it! Now, please see a message from Marianna Williamson about opportunities to volunteer at the 2026 Goalball National Championships next weekend and make this representation of blind athleticism possible!

"The U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) will host the 2026 Goalball National Championships in Colorado Springs from Friday, August 14, through Sunday, August 16, at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB). The event will gather the nation's top athletes for three days of intense competition in the only Paralympic sport designed specifically for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
The Championships will take place in CSDB's newly updated gyms, which have received modern accessibility upgrades to better support athletes who are deaf, blind, or both.
