[Colorado-Talk] Lets have a picnic!

Greetings all,

This is a reminder about the big Downtown Colorado Springs chapter BBQ. Tomorrow! Saturday, Aust 22, noon o'clock. At the Elks, 3400 N Nevada. $5 admission fee. We will be serving 3 smoked meats and usual trimmings: potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, dessert. I think the plan is to have some beverages, but you might want to bring something to eat. No adult beverages, please. This is our annual find more blind people chapter picnic. The old expression in the National Federation of the Blind has been, "I(F you feed them, they will come!" We hope you will come for the food, fun, games, and camaraderie. If you are reading this and you know a blind person or someone connected to a blind person in El Paso County, please forward. Please call and invite. We do have some limited transportation available. Please let me know directly if you know someone who needs a lift. We can arrange.

Still looking for our tug-of-war rope. If someone has it from last year, please let us know and/or bring it. There's chapter pride at stake.
