hello jordin,

thanks for posting this to the list. this all sounds awesome but, i will have to decline. i just got back from vacation in michigan visiting with family and friends and, well funds are scarce!

if it's was any other time then i would love to do this event. i went to the aururaria campus from 2003-2011 so, i'am very familiar of the campus. are you going to michigan for vacation or somewhere else?

Hi everyone,

Is anyone interested in a ticket to the Shake + Brake Showdown this Thursday, August 27, from 6–9 PM at the Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus, 1000 Larimer Street in Denver?

Shake + Brake is part of the Denver Food + Wine Festival. It’s an all-you-can-drink cocktail competition featuring local bartenders, along with appetizers from some of Denver’s best food trucks. Attendees get to vote for their favorite cocktail and food truck while eating, drinking, and dancing.

I paid $75 for my ticket and am asking $50, but I’m willing to go lower if someone would like to go. I can’t make it anymore because I’m leaving for vacation the next morning.

Accessibility note: I reached out to the event organizer ahead of time and got a description of this year’s layout. From the entrance, the food trucks will be lined up along the fence on the left, and the bartenders will be along the walkway on the right. There will also be an additional bar and DJ/lounge area in the back right corner of the event.
