This position is responsible for expanding and strengthening local chapters across the state, coordinating communications including NFB local channel outreach, supporting fundraising efforts, and increasing awareness of programs and resources available to blind and low-vision Coloradans.Key Responsibilities• Develop and support local chapters across Colorado, including recruitment and leadership development.• Coordinate strategiccommunications including newsletters, social media, website content, and NFB local channel outreach.• Assist with fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, and event promotion.• Support statewide events, conventions, and membership growth initiatives.• Track engagement metrics and provide reports to leadership.Qualifications• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Experience in community organizing, nonprofit work, communications, or related field preferred.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.• Commitment to the mission and philosophy of the National Federation of the Blind.Compensation & Benefits• Salary range: $40,000 – $55,000 annually.• Two weeks paid vacation after one year of employment.• Paid holidays and paid sick leave.• No medical insurance provided.How to ApplyInterested candidates should send a résumé and cover letter to jbbeecham at gmail.com
