Dear friends,

The National Federation of the blind of Colorado is a nonpartisan organization. Although many of my friends know that I volunteer and give to a number of candidates. The NFB can not and does not endorse.

However, as a point of information. You might be interested in knowing that our member and blind person, Yolanda Avila, is running for the county commission. You may know that she served 2 terms on the Colorado Springs City Council. Most of you know that she made issues and challenges around blindness and disability an important issue for the council. I’m going to send you the flyer just FYI. In case anyone is interested in knowing more about her campaign as a public servant, blind member, and strong advocate.
