hello peggy,

thanks for letting us know of this awesome news on the accessible prescription issue. i didn't know that it hasn't been implimented here in the state of colorado since we passed this bill.

this is also good news for pr that the aurora chapter is having the aurora tv comcast channel promote this on their channel. when you can please like you had said please share the link of the announcement here on this list.

when you do maybe forward the information perhaps to the other tv channels in the denver area like channel 4, channell, 7, and channel 9 too perhaps?

these are just ideas for good pr in promoting this bill and, also get the public to know of this bill and, also pharmacies in the state besides the denver area would also be aware of this as well too! these are just ideas. thanks again for all of your work on this endeavor and, i will talk to you soon!

hugs,
amy sabo

Subject: [Colorado-Talk] Accessible Prescription Story to Air on Aurora TV

[X]Hello All The Aurora Chapter has been actively working on the implementation of our Accessible Prescription Label Law that passed almost two years ago now. The implementation by pharmacies is poor and their advertisement of the ability to have a prescription label in an alternative format is almost non-existent.  The Aurora Chapter has been working with Aurora TV, the local cable channel for almost six months regarding this issue and they are going to air a story about ScripTalk and other options beginning this Thursday, March 19, 2026. It will air 19 times throughout the week on AuroraTV (Comcast channels 8 and 880) in Aurora on various days and at various times.  It will also be posted to their website, AuroraTV.org as part of the newscast on Wednesday night March 18.  Please look for the story and spread the word. Also, PLEASE write a thank you to Aurora TV if you see it there to increase the importance of this story. I will also get a link from the reporter to share with this list.  Please share the link and the story widely to enhance the awareness of the state-wide law and the services. I hope this will help other chapters to enhance our activities around implementation.  Peggy ChongAurora Chapter President.
