Good afternoon! I am so excited to share that our rideshare bill, HB 26-1043 just passed in the Senate with a vote of 24-11! This is excited news, and the next step for our bill is to Governor Polis' desk. The timeline on this is unsure, but we are finally there!
A huge thanks to everyone who showed up or testified at the House committee meeting on February 19, those who messaged and contacted members of the House appropriations committee to get the ball rolling, and all of those who supported this bill through development and now into law! This is a huge step in ensuring that all Coloradans, regardless of ability, benefit from the services of these companies as well as making the instances of rideshare discrimination a matter of public record. There is no accountability without transparency!

Special thank you do Dan Burke for leading the charge and keeping us all informed! When we work together, we can accomplish great things!
