It essentially involves adding three expressions to NVDA's speech dictionary.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.5in'>1. Press NVDA with n to enter the NVDA menu<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.5in'>2. Down arrow to Preferences, press right arrow, down arrow to Speech Dictionaries, and press Right arrow again to highlight Default Dictionary. Press Enter to open it.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.5in'>3. Add an entry to the dictionary. In the Pattern field, which is the first field, enter the following string without the quotes: "^alert$". Now, press Tab four times to get to a radio button which will say "Anywhere". Arrow down until you get to the Regular Expression radio button.
