RTD this evening selected Debra Johnson to be its next General Manager (GM) pending contract negotiations. The new general manager can expect to be paid nearly $300,000.00 per year. This salary does depend upon negotiations. It is sad that the Governor is
paid $125,000.00 per year, and the Director of CDOT receives around $195,000.00 per year while RTD bloats the salary of an RTD General Manager during these very trying budget times when we expect cuts in service.
