However, there is no formal user’s guide to operate this web-based system.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>These instructions are intended to help readers to sign up to use this new system, to add or remove bus or light rail routes for which they want to receive alerts, and to specify whether alerts are to be received by email or text.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><h2>Creating Your Account<o:p></o:p></h2><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>To use the new alert service, you need to create an account. Navigate your browser to the RTD Service Alerts Self Registration page, which can be found at this link: <a href="https://notifications.rtd-denver.com/s/login/SelfRegister">https://notifications.rtd-denver.com/s/login/SelfRegister</a>. On this page, you will be asked to enter your first name, your last name, your email address, and the password to be associated with your account. This password (which must be entered twice) must contain at least 8 characters and must contain alphabetic, numeric, and special (punctuation) characters.
