<strong>As soon as tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 7, crews will install a half block, curb-to-curb fence in the west half of the transitway from Champa Street to the alleyway. The fence will remain in this configuration until it extends to the full block, curb-to-curb
fence as soon as Monday, Sept. 18. </strong>Patios will be able to remain in place until the work requires the fencing to expand outward. <br>

Here’s what you can expect:</p>

<strong>The intersection at Champa and 16th streets temporarily closed today, Wednesday, Sept. 6, and will remain closed for a minimum of nine weeks.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></strong>This closure is required for Mall improvement activities
including utility, traffic signal and lighting infrastructure installation across the intersection. Please watch for signage with closure and detour information.<br>
<br>
Here’s what you can expect:</p>
<ul>
<li>Champa Street will be in a temporary two-way configuration between 15th and 17th streets to accommodate access to parking, with a U-turn required at the 16th Street Mall intersection.</li><li>A temporary traffic signal will be installed at 17th Street.</li><li>On-street parking will be limited along Champa Street between 15th and 17th streets.</li><li>The west crosswalk across 16th Street will be closed, but the other three crosswalks in the intersection will be open to pedestrians.</li><li>Access to parking structures and surface lots will be maintained.</li><li>Bike lane temporarily detoured to Arapahoe intersection between 14th and 18th streets.
